When I made the decision to pursue my CCW license, I asked around at the local shooting ranges and others in the gun community about which class to sign up for. Everyone has an opinion and although other classes/instructors were recommended, I decided to sign up at Riverside CCW Training. I heard that "the main guy" knows and talks a lot. The classroom experience was awesome! John has knowledge and experience that far surpassed my expectations. John is very methodical in his instruction and in my opinion, keeps it real. John has the ability to present his knowledge in a way that hits home; it made sense. I don't feel like he was "reading from a book" and hitting mandatory points. John's presentation of the "Anatomy of Fear" and how to remove the fear of firearms and shooting, is uncanny. So from a guy that has some customer service background and understands 5 star service, I want to commend your team for the exemplary 5 Star service that you all provided to us. John, I wanted to just say 'Thanks' to you and the cohorts that run the Riverside CCW Training/Brothers & Arms place of business. I retired from education and yes I can recognize a classy teacher. You not only have that ability but everyone else you hang out with does as well. You all teach the way teaching should be taught. You not only 'know' what you're teaching you are to teach it from the 'spirit' and not the letter of that knowledge. The antidotes you use are blended into the knowledge like spice organizing the main dish.

I participated in this course this past Saturday, John and his staff are true professionals and know their business when it comes to qualifying individuals to be prepared and the responsibilities of being a CCW carrier. You Learn the laws as it pertains to the California penal system and the ins and outs of safe yet effective firearms handing and situational awareness. John makes a fun interactive course, I highly recommend John and his company

I really thought I knew how to handle and shoot my gun until I attended Riverside CCW Training. John is a great instructor and extremely knowledgeable! He's very patient and takes the time to work with you individually until you get it right. Not only did I improve 100% in my shooting skills and gained a boat load of knowledge, but the best part was the confidence I achieved. Also, the staff at Riverside CCW is over the top! They are so helpful and extremely knowledgeable as well.
I highly recommend that before you take the initial course, take the CCW Prep Course. That made such a difference when it came time to taking the Initial Course. I'm so glad I did it that way!

HIGHLY recommend Riverside CCW Training! John is an excellent teacher and he will have you shooting on Target the first time you shoot, he's that good!!!! He goes into great detail of the mechanics of the firearm, safety, correct posture and stance so when you aim you aim on target
